Thanks to Angela we now have a couple more hi-res photos from the set of Nanny McPhee 2. Emma’s costume is made of a so-called “fat-suit” and you can see her taking out the breast-enhancing bits. There also appears to be a Nanny McPhee stunt double for more risky scenes on a motorbike.
I also found a new photoshoot from 2001 after she’d had her hair cut for Wit. Enjoy!

Posted by Amelie on 31 August 2009 under News, Projects • No CommentWord has it Emma is involved in a remake of the classic musical My Fair Lady. It will include Lerner & Loewe’s musical score and will draw more material from Shaw’s Pygmalion.
“I’ve been hired to write a new screenplay for My Fair Lady, based on the foreword and afterword of Shaw’s Pygmalion—different from the musical and not as sweet an ending.”
“I’m a Luddite, and I write longhand with an old fountain pen. There is a connection between the brain and the arm and the pen.”
Rumoured to play Eliza Doolittle and Henry Higgins respectively are Keira Knightley and Daniel Day-Lewis, but Scarlett Johansson and Hugh Laurie have been mentioned too.
According to this article, Emma has started working on the script last year. The film is set for a 2010 release and will be shot on locations in London.
I was working on the TV appearance section of the gallery today and uploaded screencaptures of Emma’s 1992 appearance in Cheers as well as her 1997 appearance in Ellen. Enjoy!
I’ve finally been able to work on another section in the gallery, this time photoshoots & filmfestival portraits. To view all of the latest uploads, click here. Enjoy!
Here’s my little something for today: screencaptures of Emma’s performance (or shall we call it cameo) in The Boat That Rocked. Loved how bitchy her character was! Enjoy!
We still haven’t seen able to get our video section up and running, so I’ll simply point you to the Apple website to view the trailer of An Education in various resolutions. But I added captures of both the trailer and the preview clip to the gallery, enjoy!

There are also new photos of Emma on the Nanny McPhee 2 set in London yesterday. I haven’t been able to get my hands on them yet, but hopefully we’ll have them here soon.
The first poster and preview clip of An Education have surfaced. I uploaded the poster to the gallery, please go here to view the clip until we have our video archive all set up. The film looks good, doesn’t it?
Emma, along with 58 other artists and celebrities, joined anti poverty charity ActionAid to send an open letter to world leaders on the eve of the G8 summit.
The letter demands that G8 leaders create a new, fairer financial system and deliver on their promise to find billions to help recession-hit poor countries.
